This Privacy Policy describes how Looky (“Looky,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Looky service. By using Looky, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Contractor account information: your name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash), business or contact details, and information you provide so that we can pay out your contractor fees.

End-customer information: names, email addresses, billing information, and transaction data collected when a customer purchases through a Looky checkout. Payment card details are collected and stored directly by Stripe — Looky does not receive or store full card numbers.

Usage data: IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, and interactions with the Looky embed and dashboard, collected automatically for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement.

2. How We Use Information

• to operate Looky checkout and process payments through Stripe;
• to calculate and pay out contractor fees;
• to communicate with you about your account, fees, policy changes, and service updates;
• to detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and policy violations;
• to comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share information with:

• Stripe, for payment processing, payouts, fraud review, and reporting;
• Service providers that host, secure, and operate our systems, bound by confidentiality obligations;
• Law enforcement or regulators when required by applicable law or to investigate suspected violations of our Terms.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for the period required to satisfy our tax, accounting, legal, and fraud-prevention obligations. You may request deletion of your account, subject to these retention requirements.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, email privacy@joinlooky.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.

6. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by Looky.

7. Children

Looky is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under 18.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions other than your own. We take steps to ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice.
